On Friday, February 3rd, I picked Carson up early from school to head to Houston, without tickets to Super Bowl LI, Patriots vs. Falcons. With my hometown Patriots playing my adopted Falcons; plus my close friend Kerry Ringham, living in Houston and general manager of the hotel the Falcons; Carson and I decided to go to Houston sans tickets, but hopeful.
In the airport in Atlanta, Carson and I with our Patriots gear. Kerry sent a car to pick us up at the airport to take us to his hotel, before heading to his house. Because Kerry was hosting the Falcons, we changed into our Atlanta clothes.
Out front of the Falcons hotel was a custom and tricked out Falcons Jeep Wrangler
Below is Carson and Kerry at Dinner on Friday.

NFL Experience had locker rooms for a bunch of players including Tom Brady, Julio Jones, and Auburn's Cam Newton.
At the NFL Experience they had a store (of course) and prior the game, they were selling autographed jersey's from Tom Brady and Matt Ryan. Kind of hard to see, but Brady's is going for $1,300 and Ryan's is $450.

Above are more pictures from inside the NFL Experience. Below Carson and I saw an implacable dressed Patriots Fan. The suit is fantastic and if you zoom in, I really like his super bowl ring.
With FOX televising the Super Bowl, inside the NFL experience FOX had all of their broadcasters.

We were able to get two tickets, thanks to Kerry, and both were great seats, but not together. I was in the corner end-zone with Falcons Fans, and Carson had the more expensive seat in Club Level with Chris Berman and Dwight Howard in his section.

Inside the stadium with Kerry, myself, and Carson before we separated to go to our seats.
Below is a picture from my seats.
Lady Gaga was a solo half time act. I am not a big Lady Gaga fan, however she was great including coming down form the roof and jumping off the stage.

Carson and I after the Patriots record breaking come back, being down 28--3 and coming back to win in overtime!!!
After the game, Carson and I hung out with other Patriot fans at the tunnel cheering the Patriots and they headed to locker room. If you zoom in, below is Coach Belichick being interviewed by Chris Berman and the ESPN crew.

What a weekend with my son!!! The scoreboard below says it all, Super Bowl LI CHAMPIONS!!!
Thank you for letting Carson and I share pictures from our Super Bowl 51 excursion. If you have any comments click below or questions, please email Shaun Priest at shaun@closerq.com.
