Unexpected Snow and Birthday Cheers: Mt. Sunapee March 2024

In late March 2024, my brother Tim invited Carson, Sammy, and I to go snowmobiling in Northern Maine. Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas, as there was no God-made snow. Carson recommended we head to Mt. Sunapee to ski on man-made snow instead. When we booked our flights, we didn’t expect God to bless us with an 18-inch snowfall, but thanks to Uncle Tim’s driving, we made it both to Nana and Papa’s cottage, and just as importantly to Mt. Sunapee!  As a bonus, when we stopped at the Market Basket in Warner, NH, we ran into Paul's parents and Cheryl's in-laws, Dundee [Opa] and Linda [Oma]😎

Additionally, I turned 55 during the trip, and Christian turned 26, so we had a joint celebration on March 23rd! Uncle Tim, Carson, and I celebrated with our lifelong friends in Elkins—Cheryl, Paul, Christian, Alexis, Savannah, and Jackson. Carson and Cheryl particularly enjoyed the newly renovated wine cellar at the Nestler's. Lastly, despite Paul having some BS excuse I can’t recall, Cheryl and Savannah joined us for skiing. Check out our many pictures and two videos!

Fun note, my Jacket is from 1989, see picture of Cliff and I skiing Mt. Sunapee back in the day, including acid-wash-jeans.  The jacket is still day-glow-green, however a picture of a 1989 picture isn't:

If you made it this far, I didn't do the double diamond and you get to see Carson Boarding!
