On November 9th, 2024 Christine and I embarked on a quick weekend escape to Chattanooga, and it turned out to be the perfect getaway!
We stayed at the beautiful Edwin Hotel, nestled right along the Tennessee River. Its ideal location gave us direct access to the, built in 1890 iconic, Walnut Pedestrian Bridge, one of Chattanooga’s most recognizable landmarks. The bridge became the centerpiece of our adventure, as Christine and I walked over 4 miles, crossing the river to explore Coolidge Park and the charming streets on the north shore, before heading back downtown to visit Ross Landing.
After a day of strolling, we capped off the evening at Whiskey Thief, Chattanooga’s only rooftop bar, where we soaked in stunning views of the city as the sun set. The ambiance, paired with the city lights, made for a memorable night.
On Sunday morning, we took a scenic drive up to Lookout Mountain, where we enjoyed breathtaking views and a peaceful end to our weekend. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, adding to the magic of the trip. Last stop Buc-ee's before arriving back in Kennesaw!
We had an amazing time and captured some wonderful memories! Check out our pictures below to see the highlights of our adventure.
